Zach Henderson is a tall, left-handed hurler from Trinity, Florida entering his second season in Leesburg. Henderson had a stellar season with the Storm in the 2020 season, baffling nearly every hitter he faced. Over 15 games, he posted an impressive 1.82 ERA to go with an even more impressive .89 WHIP. His play allowed him to be called up to the Lightning and even pitched in the playoffs.

Henderson spent last season with Valdosta State University at the Divison II level. The southpaw put together and impressive sophomore campaign, finishing with a 3-3 record and 30 punchouts over 33 innings.

Before going to Valdosta State, Henderson spent time at Daytona State College. While there, he posted an 8-3 record and struck out 85 batters over 87.2 innings.
