Alejandro Figueredo is a hard hitting corner infielder who brings a combination of contact and power hitting to the Lightning lineup.
In his two seasons at Seminole State college, Figueredo turned heads with his quick bat and impressive numbers. In 73 games across a pair of campaigns, he posted an astounding slash line of .398/.509/.641 while smashing 11 home runs, 30 doubles and driving in 75 RBI. Additionally, he walked more times (50) than he struck out (39).
Figueredo hails from the state of Sucre in Venezuela, where current MLB players Gorkys Hernandez, Eduardo Jimenez and Jesus Sucre are all from as well as former MLB pitcher Armando Galarraga.
